With a heart for authentic, engaging worship, Madison leads the congregation in songs that are both modern and rooted in Scripture. She works to build a welcoming atmosphere where people feel free to respond to God, whether they are encountering faith for the first time or have walked with Him for years. Her leadership supports ROC’s vision of compassionately sharing the love of Jesus with the “hurting and hungry” while fostering a multi-generational, family-friendly church community.
Madison’s passion for worship and community aligns with ROC’s emphasis on clear biblical teaching, warm hospitality, free community meals, and practical ministry that meets people where they are. As the church prepares for its relaunch on September 13, 2026, she plays a key role in shaping Sunday gatherings that are accessible, uplifting, and centered on Christ.

David Butler
Church Planter/Lead Pastor
David is Lead Pastor and church planter of Rutgers Oasis Church (ROC). He has spent more than fifteen years planting and leading churches, overseeing multiple locations that together served hundreds of people. He is currently leading the relaunch of Rutgers Oasis Church as a family-inclusive congregation focused on kids, singles, college students, and the wider community, with an emphasis on biblical teaching, outreach, and practical care. He pursued a Master’s degree at Liberty University with a focus on Church Planting and Evangelism to further equip himself for this work.
Before entering full-time ministry in 2010, David served as a probation officer, Family Court mediator, and parent education teacher for 26 years in NJ. That experience in the justice system—working with families in crisis and teaching parenting skills—shaped his later focus on restoration, grace, and serving people who are hurting.
Alongside his pastoral work, David co-founded and leads TJB WebMedia LLC, with his son, Tim, a family-run AI-powered web design, SEO, and digital marketing company
David also founded and continues to lead Oasis-Singles.com, a long-running Christian singles ministry and advice platform launched in 2006. The site garners well over 150,000 page views each month. Through articles, podcasts, and practical biblical teaching, the ministry addresses dating, singleness, healing from past relationships, and building healthy marriages from a faith perspective.
Away from ministry and business, he enjoys studying Greek, working out, lighting candles, and watching Hallmark movies. His life and work consistently weave together church planting, digital outreach, family, and practical service to both the church community and local businesses.
